Er besteht aus längsgestreiften Mustern. Die Kette besteht aus feiner Seide, der Schuss aus einer Mischung aus Baumwolle und Seide. Der Stoff wurde von der Industriekammer von Gaziantep geografisch registriert.

Kutnu Fabric, produced in Gaziantep since the 16th century, is a kind of atlas fabric, known to be one of the oldest bright fabrics in the literature. It consists of longitudinal striped patterns. The warp is fine silk, the weft is mixed cotton and silk. The fabric has been geographically registered by Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, in Turkey

Kutnu Fabric, produit à Gaziantep depuis le 16ème siècle, est une sorte de tissu d’atlas, connu dans des archives pour être l’un des plus anciens tissus brillants. Il se compose de motifs rayés longitudinaux. La chaîne est en soie fine, la trame est mélangée de coton et de soie. Le tissu est une appellation géographique protégée par la Chambre d’industrie de Gaziantep.

Gaziantep'te 16. yüzyıldan bu yana üretilen Kutnu Kumaşı, kayıtlarda en eski parlak kumaşlardan biri olarak bilinen bir tür atlas kumaştır. Uzunlamasına çizgili desenlerden oluşur. Çözgü ince ipekten yapılır, atkı pamuk ve ipek karışımıdır. Kumaş, Gaziantep Sanayi Odası tarafından coğrafi olarak işaretlenmiştir.
